Compare Funko Pop! Bleach Ichigo Kurosaki #2392 and Uryu Ishida #1696 on price, collection fit, and display appeal to decide which Bleach figure belongs on your shelf.
Quick answer
Start with Ichigo Kurosaki #2392 if you want the lead character and the lower catalog price; choose Uryu Ishida #1696 if you are building a broader Bleach lineup and prefer a supporting-character focus. Both are display-ready Funko Pop! vinyl figures in the Bleach line.
Price and value: a small gap that adds up
At catalog prices, Ichigo #2392 is listed at $13.59 and Uryu #1696 at $13.99, a difference of 40 cents. Both carry a $19.99 comparison price, so the discount is similar in percentage terms. If you are buying one figure, the gap is negligible; if you are buying several for a Bleach anime Funko collection, the lower price on Ichigo leaves slightly more budget for the next figure.
Neither listing includes option types such as chase variants or exclusive stickers, so treat the catalog price as the standard release price and confirm any variant details at checkout if that matters to you.
Character focus: protagonist vs supporting cast
Ichigo is the central character of Bleach, which makes #2392 an easy anchor for a new shelf or a gift for a casual fan. Uryu is a supporting character, so #1696 appeals more to collectors who already have Ichigo or who want a lineup that reflects the wider cast rather than a single hero piece.
The trade-off is simple: Ichigo gives you instant recognition, while Uryu gives you collection depth. If you only plan to own one Bleach Funko Pop, Ichigo is the safer pick; if you are deliberately building a Bleach anime Funko collection, Uryu earns a place alongside him.
What the listings do not tell you
The supplied catalog facts describe both figures as collector-friendly, display-ready Funko Pop! vinyl figures, but they do not include height, box condition, release date, or exclusivity details. That means you cannot use this comparison to judge scale or rarity. If those factors decide your purchase, check the specific listing or ask in store before buying.
This is a decision limitation, not a flaw in either figure: both are standard Funko Pop! releases aimed at Bleach fans, anime collectors, Funko collectors, and gift buyers.
Trade-offs to weigh before you buy
- Buying your first Bleach Funko Pop: Choose Ichigo #2392. He is the lead character, the lower-priced option at $13.59, and the most recognizable shelf anchor for a new Bleach anime Funko collection. If you are unsure, start with Ichigo and add Uryu later.
- Building a multi-character Bleach shelf: Add Uryu #1696 alongside Ichigo. At $13.99, he brings a supporting character into the lineup and keeps the display from being a single-hero shelf. Buying both costs $27.58 at catalog prices before tax.
- Gift buying for a casual fan: Pick Ichigo #2392 unless you know the recipient specifically favors Uryu. The protagonist is the safer gift when you are unsure of character preference.
