Deciding between Sexy Scruffy and Super King Bender? We compare these two new Futurama Funko Pop! figures to help you pick the one that fits your collection.
Quick answer
If you want a rare character with a lower price, go with Super King Bender. If you prefer a hilarious deep-cut joke and don’t mind spending a few dollars more, Sexy Scruffy is the better shelf piece.
Character rarity and fan appeal
Super King Bender is a variant of a main character from a classic episode, making him instantly recognizable to any Futurama fan. Sexy Scruffy, on the other hand, is a one-off gag character from a later season—beloved by devoted fans but less familiar to casual viewers. If you’re building a complete Futurama set, both are essential, but Super King Bender has broader appeal.
Price difference and value
Super King Bender is priced at $12.99 (down from $19.99), while Sexy Scruffy is $14.79 (also down from $19.99). Both are on sale, but Super King Bender offers a slightly better deal. If you’re on a budget or buying multiple figures, the $1.80 difference adds up.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Super King Bender – the budget pick: Lower price ($12.99) and a more mainstream character. Best for anyone who wants a recognizable Futurama figure without spending extra.
- Sexy Scruffy – the deep-cut choice: Higher price ($14.79) but a hilarious, less common character that hardcore fans will appreciate. Great for adding unique personality to a shelf. If you’re a completionist, you’ll likely want both—but if you can only pick one, decide based on your budget and how much you value the joke.
- Both figures share the same build quality: Both are described as collector-friendly and display-ready, so your choice comes down to character preference and price rather than construction. Either figure will look great on a shelf or in a display case.
